 Thank you for the reply, what I would like to know can I check wma music on your program, what i would like to do is check the MPM count but I dont know if you have some thing to do that whilst playing the music. I am after something better than tapping to the music with the mouse.I have not purchased this as yet so would like to make sure I can do what i want to do.our music is MPM for a waltz thats 30-32 i think the BPM is some were 119 thanks for your help. ...
It's not very accurate
It looks like just what I need, and I downloaded the the full version, but when I enter my Name and Key Code, It tells me that the entries are incorrect. I copy and paste from your Email.

 Great, but trouble with waltzes With the exception listed below BPM Detector is great. It is just what I have been looking for. The beat counts are very accurate. The exception is waltzes. On most waltzes the count is some number that seems unrelated to the music. Your suggestions would be welcome.BTW, I am music chairman of an ice skating club. The music used for the so-called compulsory ice dances is prescribed by the International Skating Union and U.S. Figure Skating very precisely. Nice idea but unstable with different formats.Can´t handle .vro or renamed mpg files.
 I have not had time to look more closely, but it failed for me. The text report gave the clips accurately but the video clips always returned a single, presumably recombined, clip. Just what I already had in fact.I am using Windows 7, perhaps that is it.
 Great software, especially when u forget to capture clips with scene detection turned on in Premiere or Edius.Edius 5.5 does not recognize the edius edl exported by Handysaw (It can`t reconnect the media)I just added another AV track with the original clips above and cut them manually using the edl as reference. It`s a workaround.
HandySaw does exactly what is says it does, and appears to do it well. The problem I have is your site declares it to be freeware, whereas it is actually a crippleware demo. A fully working version costs 54 euros.
